Final testing cannot repair an unclear requirement or a workflow the team never agreed on. Quality starts by defining what success means for each feature and which situations the system must handle.
Turn requirements into reviewable examples: what should a user see after entering valid data? What happens when a required field is missing? Who can approve a request? Shared examples help design, engineering, and operations discover differences before they become defects.
Then combine the right levels of testing: checks for units and business logic, integration tests between services, and end-to-end checks for important browser or mobile journeys. Add regression coverage for frequently changed features or workflows the business depends on.
Automation is valuable when it is stable, fast, and catches meaningful risk. Manual review remains important for areas that need human judgment, such as clear messages, ease of use, and behavior across devices.
Make early discovery a team habit. Quality belongs to design, engineering, and testing; it is not a separate step at the end of a project.
